Since its establishment, Changchun BoChao Auto Parts Co., Ltd. has focused on the R&D, production and large-scale application of natural plant fiber composites. With automotive interior components as a key application field, the company continues to promote the upgrading of hemp fiber, bamboo fiber and other natural plant fiber materials toward lightweight, low-carbon and environmentally friendly solutions.
BoChao has a relatively complete industry-chain capability covering material R&D, formulation design, process development, mold manufacturing, product forming, quality testing and customer co-development, enabling systematic solutions from materials to finished products based on customer requirements.
Looking ahead, BoChao will continue to pursue green manufacturing and technological innovation, expanding natural plant fiber composites into automotive, home furnishing, rail transit, aerospace and sports equipment applications.

Development History
Development HistoryFounded in 2006, BoChao has continued to innovate and grow.
- On August 17, leaders from the Automobile Development Zone attended the company’s groundbreaking ceremony, marking the official start of construction.
- The plant was completed and put into operation. BoChao became a supplier to Fuwei Johnson Controls and gradually launched comprehensive cooperation with the Johnson Controls system.
- BoChao became a Tier-1 supplier to FAW Car and formed a partnership with FAW Mold Center. It was recognized as a Jilin Province high-tech enterprise and passed IATF 16949 certification in December.
- The company was transformed into a joint-stock company, passed ISO 14001 certification and became a Tier-1 supplier to BAIC, Great Wall Motors and Xiamen King Long.
- Introduced a hemp fiber production line from France, exported products to Malaysia, introduced five-axis CNC equipment and an imported pelletizer jointly developed with German technology.
- The R&D center was recognized as a provincial-level technical center, and the company began systematic patent application and protection for R&D achievements.
- Established wholly owned subsidiaries in Yangzhou, Foshan, Chengdu and Wuhan; Wuhan and Foshan plants were put into operation and BoChao became a supplier to FAW-Volkswagen and Citroën systems.
- R&D achievements won the First Prize of Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award; “Longkefei” hemp fiber automotive composite materials were recognized as Jilin Famous Brand Products; products were exported to Japan, the United States and Malaysia; BoChao entered Mercedes-Benz and BMW supply systems.
- Foshan and Yangzhou facilities passed IATF 16949 certification; the company passed intellectual property management system certification; R&D cooperation centers were established in the UK with the University of Cambridge and the University of Bristol.
- Established an R&D center in Germany with Heidelberg University, established a purchasing center in France, and joined the global flax association as an executive council member.
- Recognized as a Jilin Science and Technology Little Giant Enterprise; qualified as a supplier for Li Auto; won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the textile association and the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
- Qualified as a supplier to Fujian Benz, won a textile association patent award, became an executive council member of the hemp association and a Tier-1 supplier to FAW Jiefang Bus.
- Co-developed new interior components with FAW Jiefang suppliers, developed seat back panels with Lear for Mercedes-Benz supply, and won the Linxi Award from the national forestry association.
- Became a Tier-1 supplier to BYD; the hemp fiber composite project won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; became a supplier to Sinotruk Sitrak; won the Gold Award of the China National Textile and Apparel Council Patent Award.
- Participated in the formulation of the national bamboo fiber standard, which was officially issued and implemented.
